No true choice this election.

Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney claim to be Christians, but neither are. Obama has consistently attacked Christianity and succored its opponents during his entire term.

Mitt Romney would seem more wholesome to traditionalists and Christians, yet he is a Mormon. Mormons  are not Christians, but a false cult that covers itself with Christian pageantry. Romney will claim that he believes the Bible is the Word of God, but he doesn’t tell you that he believes the book of Mormon as well. So the debate is between two nonbelievers, and we should not vote for either if we are Christian. By voting we are consenting to their doctrines guiding this nation. We should have but one doctrine, and it is the Word of God alone. For those who think the candidates spiritual lives do not matter consider this:

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Surely their spiritual darkness is something for us to contend against. The media in this country will not speak seriously about faith, nor about spirituality, yet it guides most of our decisions. The materialists are primarily concerned with only this world, and seeing the temporary nature of it seeks to exploit it as much as possible before their power to do so fades. Many of Obama’s servants are of that persuasion. Mormons are religious, but do not place their faith wholly on Jesus for salvation. In fact they deny that He and the Father were always God! Romney will seem kind and helpful, but the spirit working through him will be of the devil.

As said, we need a righteous man to run this country, and yet none are found for the job. One believing president could have much done through him. We have no choice spiritually in this election, both men are the servants of Satan, so in truth there is only one man running.

Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

So what can we do instead of voting for the unworthy? We stand in the gap ourselves, and pray for this land and its people. We stand up for His Word! Regardless of result, this is our role as Christians, to do this faithfully. God may judge or He may stay His mighty hand, we are to please Him anyway. Let us be fervent in this.

Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
