Reproving evil is a Christian duty.

Ephesians 5

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Definition of REPROVE

transitive verb
1: to scold or correct usually gently or with kindly intent
2: to express disapproval of

How often do you see Christians in support of issues that the Bible obviously speaks against? This passage shows what their proper response should be. Instead of supporting evil causes, we are to speak against them. Too often we try to be at peace with what is wicked, we are not meant to do this.

All of us need to search our hearts are determine if we are on God’s side, or do we seek to justify our own desires. Too often it is the latter I feel.
