A testimony of Joy

Great joy can be yours even during tragic, disappointing events that occur in life. I know this to be true, because I experienced it recently. Joy is a gift from God, and no one or thing of this world can take it away unless we allow it. Joy is a state of happiness that is unfazed by the events of the world. Joy does not mean one is without negative emotions or reactions. You still experience unpleasant things, but you do not dwell on them.

You must dwell or rest somewhere however, and I submit that you must dwell in peace with the Lord, and in love for Him and for all. Forgive those who hurt you, it is a royal command from God. Hatred towards others shall steal your peace.

Pray often, confess your sins, so you will have peace and fellowship with the Lord. The Father shall forgive you because His Son Jesus has. (only if you believe on the Lord for salvation though) Pray that your needs be met, do not dwell on them though, your Father in heaven knows them better than you. Love God by following His commands, He is due all respect, glory, and fear. Learn to be content with what you have, you are richer than you think you are. Be grateful for all the things given to you by others and by God. Thank Him often.

Good took care of me during my trials, He cared for my needs, and my fears fled me. When you cannot see the path before you, walk it in faith, take righteous action without knowing the results fearlessly. I assure you God shall not be found lacking in the love He shows you and then you shall know joy.
