Omelets are usually a healthy food that are simple to prepare. Eggs are a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. The concerns about cholesterol have always been unfounded. People have been eating eggs for thousands of years. Here is the simplest omelet you can make.
- 3 eggs
- a handful of shredded cheese
- a tablespoon or less of real butter
- salt and pepper to taste
First, take a frying pan and put it on a burner on your stove. Put the the burner at medium-low heat. Take the eggs and beat them in a small bowl. Salt and pepper them in the bowl. Place the butter in the pan to melt, make sure it covers the bottom so the omelet won’t stick. Then toss the egg mixture into the pan. Wait until the eggs seem semi firm, then place the cheese on the eggs. Test with a spatula if the eggs are solid on the bottom, if they are then flip up half the omelet on top of itself. This should make it into a crescent shape. Give the omelet about a minute or so on its side, then flip it upside down for a minute. Remove from the pan and eat 🙂
Easy, simple, healthy, cheap, and it doesn’t take long to make. Omelets can be served at anytime for a meal. The only trick is flipping the omelet. Sometimes tilting the pan helps a lot as you try to flip it. Hope you enjoy 🙂
